Test My Phone
There are 2 ways to test your phone to see if it works with Mosio. It works with most phones and carriers, but we've found that some require a special way of entering info to get the results you need. Here's how you do it:
1) Grab your phone and start a new sms/text message. Text test to ping@mosio.com. Watch the little animation below to see how.
Note: Some phones (we've found some Cingular and T-Mobile) will not let users send a text directly to an email address. In this case we have found that creating a contact with an email address will take care of this problem for you. We've made it easier here, just follow the instructions on #2 below.
2) Type in your phone number and select your carrier, and we'll send you a test:
