If he were John McCain, the number of roads would depend on the number of homes he owns.

Where are gas stations in south west Houston that have gas? Thanks. Join or Log In to answer.
From HoustonGasPrices.com: Kroger @ San Felipe & Voss. Hope that helps.
-cheshmetroshan (1Q / 454A) Mon Sep 15, 2008 3:05pm

Sorry, this does not help. There are plenty of gas stations in Houston, but 70% of the city still don't have power. Unless the gas stations are running a generator, they may have supplies in their tanks, but can't pump it. Thanks for your effort anyway.

Thanks for the KUHF link. I'll monitor that page tomorrow morning. Chevron on Beechnut @ 59 is close to where I am, but that was called in six hours ago.
Thanks again for your help.

What kind of plastic are credit cards made of? PVC? Thanks, Mosio! Join or Log In to answer.
Polypropylene and Vinyl? That's a plastic blend, the same stuff that your Credit Card is made out of. -from a luggage tag website
-ventura726 (59Q / 45A) Fri Aug 8, 2008 2:44pm

Mostly polyvinyl chloride acetate (PVCA) (and then magnetic tape, etc), but that's the plastic part.

Hi Mosio! Is a consulate considered foreign soil, like an embassy is? Thanks. Join or Log In to answer.
Usually yes
-Mangangali (0Q / 9588A) Thu Jul 3, 2008 10:34am

A consulate is like a junior embassy. It's generally located in a busy tourist city, and takes care of tasks such as issuing visas. Embassies also perform this function, but have a much more significant role beyond the scope of just visas.
-modcom (59Q / 15647A) Thu Jul 3, 2008 10:42am

A country will typically have one embassy in every country, along with several consulates in different regions of that country.
